Here's a beautiful wedding that I photographed in New York this December. The wedding had an elegant and timeless feel and the black and white images reflect that.

Home is where the heart is...
An off-beat fall wedding in their apartment off of Central Park, NYC.
I photographed the wedding of Erika & James in New York this fall. What makes this wedding unique are it's deeply personal touches. Erika designed the entire wedding, including transforming her apartment into the wedding venue. Lilian

"Overall Theme & Décor "Modern white meets a fall-inspired eclectic palette of Moroccan and Latin fusion?!... " From the spectacular floral design of Bella Fluers- to lighting, catering and over-all event production by Choice Productions NYC... the theme was literally palpable. Most importantly, the largest conceptual driver was to create an intimate environment where guests could peek into an authentic look at our lives through lots of wonderful personal detail about our roots, and our personalities. Our home seemed the only venue appropriately fitting. I also wanted to somehow incorporate 'the presence' of my dad who passed away 12 years ago". Erika

Tips on having a great winter wedding:
Venture the snow! New York is magical when the city is covered in a fresh layer of snow. It will be cold, but the images will be worth it.
Afterwards, have a great cocktail and dance party to warm up, just as Dana and Aki did.
Here is a selection of photos from Lindsay and Andrew's wedding at the Bowery Hotel in New York. We walked from the Carlton Hotel, through Madison Square Park, to the Bowery Hotel and stopped by the Flatiron building on the way. It was a fun walk and we loved Lindsay's outfit. At the end, my multitasking assistant Josh ended up with Lindsay's fur shoulder coat and bouquet, and bouncing flash at the same time!
Soraya Jollon was the wedding planner for the wedding, I love working with Soraya she is super organized and always creates a harmonious working situations for couples and vendors, I highly recommend her for your wedding planning!

I photographed Julie and Jerome's wedding on March 7th, 2009 and the weather was just perfect. We went to several locations in New York City to get a wide selection of photos. New York offers a tapestry of great locations and venues for photography, and that's what makes it so special for weddings. As a photographer, I always love photographing New York weddings and living here.
Julie and Jerome had a Western as well as a Korean ceremony in their wedding. Below is a selection of photos from their album. Enjoy!
I spent two weeks photographing in Bali, Indonesia with Ruby and Charlie and it was incredible. I love the photos because they show different ceremonial and wedding traditions from many cultures. It was a melting pot of Javanese, Hindu, and Western traditions. The wedding was stylistically elegant and unique.
This wedding will be published in a book on different wedding styles by Knot Magazine.

These are some of the photos of the wedding I photographed in Italy. Many of these photos will be published in the summer issue of Martha Stewart Living as well as her website. It was fantastic working with Elaine and Todd. The wedding was tastefully put together on so many levels. From the locations they chose in Orvieto to using Artfool to design and plan their wedding. I love working with Mathew Robins from Artfool. His work is truly exceptional and have worked with him on several weddings. Every wedding was designed beautifully. Check out his work at www.Artfool.com

The choice of the bridal bouquet, designed by Artfool, was so complimentary to the colors of La Badia (the old castle where the ceremony took place).

This is the ceremony site.

The cocktail party.

These are some of the couple portraits by the famous Orvieto cathedral.
